Reports are the most common product and are written in plain English with tables and graphics as necessary to illustrate the text. They may include background information including results from earlier research or the history of a particular issue, methods used to collect and analyze new or existing data, and the results of those analyses. Aging Research Group may also make recommendations for mitigating a particular problem based on the knowledge summarized or gained in the report. Before publication, recommendations are vetted with the customer to ensure they can be implemented.
Public presentations to citizens, planners, government officials, providers or other stakeholders who need to be informed of a particular issue or possible solution are conducted by experienced speakers.
Databases can be created for customers who want to conduct their own analyses of data that were collected under contract. Data that come from other sources, may require public use agreements with the customer.
Examples of reports can be found at the Center for Housing and Long-Term Care where Dr. Salmon served as director from 2003 to 2007:
